Federal agencies, the State of Missouri, the region's Area Agency on Aging, and a handful of national nonprofits. No newspapers, no advertisers, no guesses.
Every fact on this site links to one of the 27 public pages below, and every link was opened and read on September 10, 2026. Almost all of them belong to the National Institute on Aging, other federal agencies, the State of Missouri, or the Area Agency on Aging that covers St. Louis County. Where a page has a year on it, the site quotes that year. Where it does not, the site does not invent one.
A note on one address. The National Institute on Aging's page on mourning the death of a spouse now redirects to its page titled Coping With Grief and Loss; the site cites the destination page, which is where the sentences it quotes live.
Three things are deliberately not on this list: any page from New Plan Care's own website, which is an advertiser and not a source; any newspaper, magazine or broadcast outlet; and any page we tried to open that would not load for us on the day, which we simply did not cite. If a link below has moved or changed its figure, tell us and we will fix the sentence that depends on it.
